The midweek game of the fifth round of the Champions League turned out to be a one-sided affair only after a deadlocked first half.
The home side had their share of errors just as the visitors in finding accuracy to score goals in the first half.
Stern words from LCD coach Peter Gunemba at the break turned the game turn around.
A minute into the second half, Solomon Islander Joachim Waroi scored when Rapatona’s captain and goalkeeper John Bai deflected the ball from Raymond Gunemba’s penalty kick from outside the box.
The home side hit again two minutes later when Nigel Dabinyaba from the left wing crossed to Gunemba to increase the lead to 2-0 before Mathew David, following a brilliant individual effort, rolled the ball past Bai and into the net.
Two more goals from Dabinyaba and Japhet Tiampo put the icing on the cake for the defending champions to sail home with a 5-0 win over the visitors.
After the fourth round Dwellers have 14 goals for and 0 against them ahead of Hekari, who has 10 goals for and one against.
