THE NCD Public Servants Soccer Association will stage the Southern Region leg of Besta FA Cup qualifying tournament at the PNGIPA Oval.
The Southern region Besta FA Cup challenge will be held from November 1st – 4th in Port Moresby at the home of the NCD Public Servants Soccer Association.
Expected teams who will taking part in the event includes Koupa Soccer Association from the Central Province, Hekari Soccer Association, Port Moresby School of Excellence and host, PSSA all from Port Moresby and Central Province.
The Momase regional tournament has seen Lae Football Association coming out winners of the Momase tournament last Sunday in Wau. They will be representing the region in the next leg of the tournament expected to be held in November. The NGI qualifier have commenced today in the small town of Buka while Simbu will host the Highlands Cup.
Lae will play host to the semi finals which will be held in Lae at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium on the 8th November while the finals will also be played on the 10th at the same venue
PNGFA has extended its participation requirements to all provisional member associations to be part of Besta Cup Challenge.
NCDPSSA interim committee headed by Vonnie Kapi Natto is calling for top players from the women’s team to meet to form the women’s NCDPSSA side.
