Venues confirmed for soccer challenge

After facing non-availability of the IPA grounds to host Port Moresby matches the Telikom National Soccer League have finally secured a venue for the Port Moresby matches.

In Lae at 13:00 pm is David versus Goliath, the young Besta outfit will look to upset the champs Hekari United FC.

With the double header in Port Moresby the match will be played at Bomana Correctional Institute Service grounds.

First match will kick-off at 11:30 am with Oro FC taking on Admiralty FC and the main game at 14:00 pm between FC Port Moresby and Madang FC.

Telikom National Soccer League Competition Manager, Simon Koima, remains adamant that the competition must continue.

He and his team are working with stakeholders, sponsors and franchises to ensure that games are held every weekend.

Koima ensures that NSL will not tolerate any consumption of alcohol by supporters or players at the grounds.
