The match kicks off

1′ Papua New Guinea have the kick off and immediately go on the attack down the right

2′ Fiji’s Akram Hussain embarks on a run along the left wing but his low cross is comfortably gathered by goalkeeper Charles Lepani

5′ Papua New Guinea very nearly go ahead when David Browne hits a free kick from the edge of the box through the wall. It deflects its way to Samson Poesi, whose close range effort is well saved by goalkeeper Senirusi Bokini

8′ Bokini is injured in a heavy challenge and the play is held up while he receives treatment

9′ Bokini is now back on his feet and appears to be suffering no side effects

11′ Jason Farock swings a cross over for Papua New Guinea from the left flank but the ball sails behind for a goal kick

13′ Aryton Yagas chips a dangerous free kick into the box for Papua New Guinea but Fiji goalkeeper Bokini comes out to gather it acrobatically

15′ Yagas again knocks a promising free kick in but Fiji deal with the danger

16′ Rodney Mobiha receives the ball in the box with his back to goal for Papua New Guinea and turns but his cross-come-shot loops well wide of the goal

21′ GOAL!!! Fiji 1, Papua New Guinea 0: Al-taaf Sahib hits a spectacular long range free kick over Lepani for one of the goals of the tournament so far

23′ The play is held up while Fiji captain Josaia Masiwini receives treatment for an injury

25′ Fiji are having the better of the game and Papua New Guinea will need to get more of the ball to start creating some chances

28′ Soheb Sheik shows great pace to sprint down the right flank and beats a defender before slicing his shot from an acute angle behind the goal
