LAE will be the host venue for the 2017 Besta FA Cup finals from Oct 26-28.
PNG Football Association, after discussions with sponsor International Food Corporation, made the announcement.
The action will get underway with six men’s team and four women’s team from the four regions who qualified for the semi-finals.
Southern Region will have PMSA and Hoods for the men’s while the women’s will be represented by PMSA.
Mamose will have big guns Morobe Football Association and Madang for the men’s and Morobe Football Association for the women’s.
Highlands is yet to stage their tournament before the winners are announced while the New Guinea Islands will have Talasea for the men’s and Kimbe Soccer Association for the women’s.
The winners of the semi-finals will proceed on to the grand finals on Oct 28 to see who will be crowned the champion.
PMSA women’s, who clinched onto the title twice in 2013 and 2015, are looking to take the women’s title back to Port Moresby this year.
The Besta FA semi-finals and grand-finals will be played at Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium.
The Highlands Regional Besta FA Cup Qualifier will kicked off today at Dickson Oval in Kundiawa and will ends on Saturday 14 October.
