FC Momase coach Rosen Matanga is hoping for a better performance from his side when they face FC Morobe Wawens on Saturday at PNG Football Stadium in Port Moresby.
Matangan said he would be looking to retain the line-up that played against Toti City last week.
“We are looking to improve from where we left off last weekend and hopefully come up with a positive result at the end,” Matanga said.
With Basil Jofari and senior players Moses Asrib, Krapet Tingut, Theo Sergius and Junior Sasu at the helm, the coach is confident they will give a good game to the Dallas Namuesh-led team.
Wawens’s coach Peter Seski will call on the services of midfielder Alu Awi, Bernard Purari, Michael Saun and Dallas Namuesh.
Up front, Seski will have Francis Isom and speedy Giwi Simon to bombard FC Momase’s defence time and again.
It should be a good game to watch.
While the double header at Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium, Southern Strikers will face yet another tough test when they size-up against defending NSL champions Toti City FC.
The main match should go down to wire with the PNGFA development team Besta PNG United hosting Madang FC. Besta with a bye last weekend will be looking at winning this game to secure 9 points.
