The National Soccer League draw was officially announced during a press conference held last Friday at Telikom Rumana Board Room.
Three matches will be played simultaneously in Madang, Lae and Port Moresby next weekend to kick start the 2017-2018 season.
The NSL draw was done by NSL Chairman Benny Popoitai in presence of PNGFA representative and the media.
The matches will be played in a League system across three provincial centres.
Commencing this Saturday the 13 of January, Madang FC will play host to newcomers FC Morobe Wawens at the Laiwaden Oval in Madang.
While over in Lae, Toti City Dwellers will host Besta PNG United at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium while the other two newcomers Southern Strikers and FC Momase will battle it out in Port Moresby at Bisini Soccer Ground.
All three matches are set for kick off with the formalities to be done by NSL Chairman Benny Popoitai in Madang, PNGFA Senior Vice President John Wesley Gonjuan in Lae and NSL Deputy Chairman Miok Komolong in Port Moresby.
FFPNG Players who wanted to play in the National Soccer League are allowed and does not need clearance from any party however they cannot hop back once they are with PNGFA registered team, highlighted by Gonjuan.
Gonjuan also added that FFPNG does not have legal status to hold players.
The Chairman also took the liberty to welcome the new teams in the competition and wish them well in their campaign.
