THE National Soccer League (NSL) will enter the window transfer period after all six teams complete round one in Lae on Wednesday.
NSL competition manager Simon Koima said that the window of opportunity for players to transfer to the clubs will only be open for a week.
“I’m advising all franchise clubs to strictly abide by the PNG Football Association (PNGFA) rules.
“They should know how the process works,” Koima added.
Koima said they will not get any players outside but only within the PNGFA member affiliates.
“This also means all players from the six franchises must fully register all their players on their roster as well,” Koima said.
The NSL transfer window is a period when NSL players can be recruited from another team, but only with a proper signed document that is approved by both clubs releasing and receiving the player.
The mid-week triple header scheduled on Wednesday will see Besta PNG united FC take on Buang FC at 10am, Lae City Dwellers FC to challenge Huawei PS United FC at 12:30pm and at 3pm the match-up between Madang FC and Vitis Yamaros FC will be the main game.
