The Port Moresby Soccer Association will be staging the Southern-leg of the Besta FA Cup from July 20 to 23 at Bisini Soccer Ground.

According to Local Organizing Committee chairman Leslie Babaga, Bisini is set to host the four-day tournament next month.

Teams expected to take part in the event include Port Moresby School Soccer Association, Higaturu Soccer Association, Western Soccer Association and host Port Moresby Soccer Association.

Babaga said the expression of interest is open to all MA’s and associate members. Interested centres should contact him on 7331 3002 or email: boyd4081@gmail.com.

Madang will host the Momase leg from July 02 – 07 while Kimbe Soccer Association will host the NGI leg from July 25 – 29 and Simbu will host the Highlands leg from 9 – 15 July.

PNGFA competition manager Simon Koima said all interested teams should meet the requirement of nomination fee of K500 per team including player registration fee of K3.

“All fees must be deposited into PNGFA operations account number 7002171143, BSP Waigani drive branch,” said Koima.

He added that teams that fail to comply with the requirements such as affiliation fees, nomination fees and proof of deposits of monies will not be eligible to participate in the tournaments.
