Toti City embarks on community program

Toti City Football Club has started a community program that targets schools in Lae.

According to the Captain Raymond Gunemba the idea started within the club to give back into the communities especially the schools.

The team kicked started with Markham Road Primary school after an invitation was sent to the team.

Gunemba says he is happy with the program and this helps the club to impart their skills to the upcoming players.

“We teach the kids basic skills of passing, dribbling and get to play small sided games with them, “he adds.

The team also gives motivation talks to the students encouraging them to always put education first and to be good citizens of the province and the country.

The clubs has had requests from St Paul Primary School, Lae Christian Academy and the St Mary’s Primary School to visit.
